A collection of ceramic handbags I’ve created during the Artist Residency in Mallorca. The handles are knotted out of Mallorcan palm leaves. I had the pleasure to be introduced to palm weaving during a workshop on the island. The result is a combination of the newly learned technique and my old love for Scoubidou knotting. The bags are made out of Mallorcan clay. I took some pictures of the bags in Mallorca – the series is an ode to the places I’ve visited (and got to love) during the residency.
