Next to the functional objects that I’ve designed for the „Bakalowits Home Collection“, I’ve created the so called Phantasy Objects. These surrealistic objects were either made out of materials that are part of a classic chandelier or materials that are used to wrap and ship a chandelier. I wanted to draw attention to the elements that are essential to the making of a chandelier, but which are no longer visible in a finished chandelier, or play only a secondary role. The idea to create Phantasy Objects came from an old advertisement of the chandelier manufacturer Bakalowits that I found in a catalouge.

The prints were part of the scenography during the exhibition at Bakalowits’ shop in Vienna.
